WHAT IS TRUTH?
Is it possible to know what truth really is?
YES INDEED!
The Lord Jesus Christ said,
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”
(John 8:32).
Jesus Christ also said to God the Father,
“thy word is truth” (John 17:17).
In this message YOU can find the ABSOLUTELY TRUE answers
to this question, “WHAT IS TRUTH?”

TWELVE ASPECTS OF ABSOLUTE TRUTH
1.THE TRUTH IS God loves you no matter who you are or what you have done!
—John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son (Jesus Christ), that whosoever (including you) believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
—Romans 5:8, “But God commendeth (proves) his love toward us, in that, while we (you and I) were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
—1 John 4:9-10, “In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation (take the punishment) for our sins.”
2.THE TRUTH IS no one deserves God’s love! We all are sinners! We all are rebellious against God!
—Isaiah 53:6, “All we (you and I) like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way.”
—Ecclesiastes 7:20, “For there is not a just man upon the earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.”
—1 John 1:8, “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”
—1 John 1:10, “If we say that we have not sinned, we make him (God) a liar.”
3.THE TRUTH IS all our sins have been committed against God and against His divine law!
—Psalm 51:1, 4, “O God . . . Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight.”
—1 John 3:4, “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.”
4.THE TRUTH IS the result or penalty for EVERY sin is the separation of the lost sinner from God in this life!
—Isaiah 59:2, “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.”
—Psalm 5:4-5, “Thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. The foolish (unsaved sinners) shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.”
—Psalm 66:18, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.”
5.THE TRUTH IS the final result of sin is for the UNREPENTANT sinner is to be cast into Hell, the everlasting lake of fire and unending torment and suffering!
That is the DEATH PENALTY that we all (both YOU AND I) indeed do deserve for having willfully sinned against God and against His holy law!
—Romans 5:12, “Death passed upon all men, for that all (you and I) have sinned.”
—Matthew 13:41-42, “The Son of Man (Jesus Christ) shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity (all unsaved); And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”
6.THE TRUTH IS you can be reconciled to God now and be saved from that everlasting death, because Jesus Christ has already suffered that death penalty for you!
—Isaiah 53:5, “He (Jesus Christ) was wounded (crucified) for our transgressions (my and your willful rebellious sins), he was bruised for our iniquities.”
—Romans 5:6, “Christ died for the ungodly (for us).”
7.THE TRUTH IS although Jesus Christ died for our sins, He did not remain dead. He arose from the dead!
—1 Corinthians 15:3-4, “Christ died for our sins . . . he was buried . . . he rose again the third day. . . .”
8.THE TRUTH IS Jesus Christ is alive and is able to save every sinner, INCLUDING YOU, no matter how bad you are or what you have done!
—Isaiah 1:18-19, “Come now, and let us reason to gether, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient.”
—Hebrews 7:24-25, “But this man (Jesus Christ), because he continueth ever (he is the ever-living eternal God), hath an unchangeable priesthood. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost (no matter how bad you are) that come unto God by him (you can come to God only through the Lord Jesus Christ).”
9.THE TRUTH IS the salvation that God will give to you now cannot be earned by the good or religious deeds you do! It can be received ONLY AS A GIFT.
—Romans 6:23, “the gift (unearned and undeserved) of God is eternal life (Christ’s own life—salvation) through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
—Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
10. THE TRUTH IS in order to be saved NOW, you must believe this message and allow Jesus Christ to save you on the basis of His merits and His goodness and not on the basis of yours! You must now trust that the punishment He took for you on the cross to pay for your sins is entirely sufficient and YOU MUST believe that you cannot to do anything else to save yourself!
—Romans 4:4-5, “Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.”
—Romans 5:18-19, “By the righteousness of one (Jesus Christ) the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life . . . by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.”
11.THE TRUTH IS the only way for you to be saved is for you to be united with (totally yielded to, surrendered to, joined unto, married to) the very eternal life of Jesus Christ!
—1 John 5:11-12, “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life (there is only one eternal life and that is God’s own life), and this life is in his Son; He that hath the Son hath life (the one who literally has been united with the eternal life of Jesus Christ by receiving his Holy Spirit into his or her being is saved); and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life (that one is not saved).”
12.THE TRUTH IS in order for you to receive the eternal life of Jesus Christ and be saved, you must sinserely repent—be willing to give up your sins and let Jesus Christ take them all out of your life! You then must ask Him to be your sufficient and only Lord and Saviour! Finally, YOU MUST believe that He has saved you!
—Acts 8:22, “Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.”
—Acts 17:30-31, “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world.”
PRAY NOW! to the Lord Jesus Christ and surrender your entire life to Him. Ask Him to save you and BELIEVE that He will do it immediately.
He is waiting and His Holy Spirit is listening for your prayer!
