TREMBLING BELIEF


    DO YOU BELIEVE God’s Word—The Absolute Truth? Do you believe that the only way you can be saved is to obey the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ? Do you believe enough to tremble? The trembling that a person does when truly believing Biblical Truth is not manifested by the literal shaking of the physical body or even by literal tremors of the heart. It is manifested by his or her actions.


For one not to believe and tremble is for one to to continue in soul-condeming apathy until one ends up in Hell! “He that believeth not is condenmed already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:18). To really believe the Gospel is to tremble enough to do one of two things. One will either rebel against God in satanic hatred, or trust Jesus Christ for salvation. God promises to bless YOU if you will believe with “a contrite spirit”—a broken and yielded spirit—and let Jesus Christ save you.


Thus,“saith the LORD: but to this man will I look (look with favor), even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word” (Isaiah 66:2).


    DO YOU BELIEVE the Biblical teaching that you are a sinner and that you cannot save your self and that you don’t even deserve to be saved.


“There is not a just man upon the earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not” (Eccl. 7:20).


“For the wages (that which we all have earned and indeed deserve) of sin is death....” (Rom. 6:23).


   DO YOU BELIEVE that God loves you and that He has given His Son Jesus Christ to die for you and to save you from your sins,  from Satan and from Hell?


“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).


   DO YOU BELIEVE that Jesus Christ has already suffered all the punishment you deserve, so that you will not have to die in the fires of hell. God doesn’t want you to go to hell! His Son died for you in your place on the cross!


“For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly (for you and for me)” (Romans 5:6).


   DO YOU BELIEVE that  Jesus Christ also was raised from the dead so that He can be your living Saviour now?


The Lord Jesus Christ “ . . . was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification” (Romans 4:25).


  SATAN and HIS DEMONS BELIEVE God’s Word, the Christian Bible—The Absolute Truth! The devil believes so much that he trembles at God’s Word. He knows that the Lord Jesus Christ is indeed God, and that Christ has judged his rebellion and wickedness and has condemned him to everlasting punishment in hell. Nevertheless, the devil’s Trembling Belief is manifested only in his continued HATRED for Jesus Christ, for righteousnes and for the Bible. Yet, he knows that Biblical teachings are Absolute Truth.


“Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble” (James 2:19).


   NOW, WHAT ABOUT YOU? Are you an unbeliever who will continue in apathy until you condemn your own soul to hell by your unbelief? Or do you believe with a satanic hatred for Jesus Christ, for the Christian Bible and for righteousness? Or will you believe with a trembling and a “contrite spirit” and will you surrender to Jesus Christ right now and let Him save you? Please believe now before it is to late for you to be saved!


“ . . . The soul that sinneth, it shall die” (Ezekiel 18:4).


“But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out” (Numbers 32:23).


“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap  8  For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting” (Galatians 6:7, 8).


“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3).


“He, that being often rproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy” (Prov. 29:1).


   PLEASE BELIEVE NOW and repent. Surrender to God and pray to the Lord Jesus Christ and let Him save you immediately. Then God will look to you with His saving favor that you do not deserve. He will save and bless you this very moment if you will let Him! He will give you “eternal life”—His very life.


Thus,“saith the LORD: but to this man will I look (look with favor), even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word” (Isaiah 66:2).


   PRAY NOW! If you will just pray to Jesus Christ and ask Him, He will save you instantly. Tell Him that you are sorry for all your sins. Surrender your life to Him so He can take your sins out of your life. Believe that He will save you like He said.


“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13).


   DON’T DELAY, LATER MAY BE TOO LATE!
